On 7th December the junior school all took part in our annual Key Stage 2 General Knowledge Quiz to select a team to compete against other schools at the Area Heat in March. On Thursday 1st October, Year 3 visited Whitstable beach to investigate rocks and shells. We used magnifying glasses to examine the items closely, and collected small shells for an art collage for future use. We also selected a rock to turn into a ‘pet’ back in class, and ended the day by going on a savenger hunt to find different types of rocks. The children were really well behaved, and […]
