On Friday 23rd June, we hosted our annual Sports Day event for 2017. It was a day filled with excitement, nerves, competition and joy! We are absolutely delighted to announce that the Pointer School yesterday were the winners of the Junior Debating Competition held at Colfe’s School.  20 teams in total took part, including Blackheath Prep and Colfe’s, with Pointers being the highest scoring team in the preliminary rounds.  No other school teams performed so well. On Tuesday 6th June 2017, we held our annual Public Speaking Competition in St John’s Church. There were 10 contestants from Years 3-6; a representative from each class. Five days of high-octane, adventurous activities were the recipe for the Year 6 pupils this summer term.
