Year 4 enjoyed an amazing day at Kent Life on Wednesday! We made ‘silver’ brooches, and found out how Vikings used to live in the past. What a fun day we had dressing up as literacy characters for World Book Day. Costumes ranged from Legolas from the Lord of the Rings, to Florence Nightingale! The children made a huge effort to stay in role and write super character profiles.    

Join us during February half-term term for super science week! Holiday club runs from Monday 12th – Friday 16th February 2018 and is open from 8am to 6pm. Our little scientists will have the opportunity to explore and experiment over the course of the week through a variety of fun and age-appropriate scientific activities. What a fantastic trip Year 4 visiting the Centre of the Cell based at Queen Mary University in Whitechapel. It was a very scintillating experience; educational and fun! The children learnt about cells, identified cancerous tissue, played interactive games healing burns and much, much more. The day ended with a workshop on teeth, which really helped to consolidate work done in class.
