The Pointer School are in pole position after the first Kent Grand Prix tournament of the academic year. We had 7 pupils representing the school, Shreyas and Stakhey both played in the U18 Major which is an amazing achievement in itself. Shreyas’ performance with clear first, was outstanding. Sapphire class really enjoyed their teddy bear’s picnic on Friday. We think that the teddies did too! They all enjoyed sipping on their tea and eating some yummy biscuits. We even helped our teddies do some dancing and sang them a lullaby to fall asleep. What a fun afternoon!

On Friday 22nd June, we hosted our annual Sports Day event for 2018. It was a day filled with excitement, nerves, competition and joy! In May, Year 5 took a magical trip up into the heart of the Peak District, Hartington! They spent 4 days and 3 nights exploring the beautiful countryside. On Monday 23rd April, as promised, The Mobile Farm delivered seven eggs along with an incubator and a brooding box. On Wednesday morning, we noticed that one of the chicks had started to peck and push its way out of its shell!
