Holiday Club

Holiday club runs during every school break and is open to all children aged 3-11. We offer a varied programme of activities includes arts and crafts, team games, sports, special visitors and theme days to stimulate and entertain children. The Holiday Club offers a safe environment with excellent adult: child ratios, under the watchful eye of our experienced staff who are all DBS checked, first aid qualified, and have experience in the Early Years.

Join us at Easter 2018 where our little adventurers will have the opportunity to explore the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of the world. Holiday club runs from Monday 26th March – Friday 13th April 2018 (excluding Bank Holidays) and is open from 8am to 6pm. The Pointer School Holiday Club is staffed by trained childcare professionals who are DBS checked and first aid qualified.

Week One – Europe & Africa (26th – 29th March)

Learn to play the Djembe in our African drumming workshop. Become a mini Pizzaiolo and delve into the food of Italy. Join our European Football festival and learn about the heritage and history of the Tour de France as we make our own cycling jerseys.

Week Two – The Americas (3rd – 6th April)

Meet the animals of the rainforest, live. Hit it out of the park with our all American Baseball and learn how to make Tortillas by hand. Try your hand at Hollywood Movie Making and join our Pointers Oscars! Wrap up the week with our Rio Carnival Party.

Week Three – Asia & Australasia (9th – 13th April)

Get hands-on with our Sushi making workshop and cook up a Chinese banquet. Learn the ancient art of Mehndi hand painting and the history of the Faberge Egg. Delve into the heritage of Aboriginal Art and get messy with our Holi Festival of Colour.

Short Notice or Walk-in Booking Prices

A short notice or walk-in booking is defined as any booking made with less than 24hrs notice. To confirm short notice availability, and to avoid disappointment, you must call the office on 0208 858 7977 prior to coming to holiday club.

Hours Price
Late Notice & Walk-in per hour (minimum 5hrs) £7.00

Late collection after 6pm is charged at £10 per 15 minutes.

A cold packed lunch is required each day please. We regret that we cannot reheat food. Please ensure that your child’s lunch does not contain whole nuts or nut spreads.

Morning and afternoon organic fruit snacks and drinks will be supplied.

When does PSHC run?
All school holidays, excluding bank holidays, Christmas and INSET days. Specific dates are listed above.


What hours is holiday club open?
We are open from 8am – 6pm. The core day, when most advertised activities take place, is from 10pm – 4pm.


Where are you located?
We are located at 37 Shooters Hill Road, London, SE3 7TH


How do I book?
Bookings are via our online system using Eventbrite. To book a place for your child use the buttons above.


How can I pay?
We accept all major credit and debit cards.


Can pay by Child Care Vouchers (CCV)?
Yes, we accept CCV’s. To pay by CCV select the “pay by invoice” option in the payment details section. Your place will not be confirmed until we receive remittance from your CCV provider.


How long in advance do I need to book?
Advance bookings close 24hrs before the holiday club opens. Last minute places are subject to availability, please call to confirm if spaces are available.


What should I bring?
All children attending holidays club will require a waterproof coat, a packed lunch and a water bottle. For younger children, please send a change of clothes.


Is lunch provided?
No, all children must bring a cold packed lunch. We regret we cannot reheat food. No whole nuts or nut spreads.


Are your staff first aid trained?
Our holiday club leaders have specialist pediatric first aid qualifications.
