Pottery Painting at Biscuit in Greenwich

On December 17th, Annika picked Luka, Ore and Eimear to join her at Biscuit with Mrs Gomme and Miss Hayden. We had a two hour session to paint our pottery, which ranged from plates, to a mug to an elephant! We had a lot of fun, and enjoyed the hot chocolate.  Thank you to Biscuit for donating 2 ceramics and the drinks. Here are the finished products:

A fun day at the Horniman Museum

Miss George, Mrs Greenwood, and Mrs Michael took Gabriel, Philip, Evan, Dharma, George, and James for a fun day out to the Horniman Museum. We saw lots of interesting animals and even got to touch some during a special workshop. The weather was beautiful and we had a great picnic in the grounds followed by a play in their musical garden! It was such fun!

A Tolkien Adventure

During the Christmas holiday Miss Selfslagh and Miss Batiste took Melker, Vikram and Ricardo on a Tolkien adventure. The boys were treated to a cinema trip to see ‘The Hobbit.’ Miss Selfslagh and Miss Batiste were thoroughly briefed on the characters and plot before the film began and questioned at length when it had ended. They passed the test but the boys weren’t too impressed that their favourite part of the film had been the ‘love story.’ “But what about the dragon!?” After the film the boys were taken to Greenwich park to re-enact scenes from the film and to burn off some of the sugary energy from all of the cinema sweets. We visited the deer enclosure but sadly none came out to see us. Vikram suggested that the orcs might have got to them first. We finished the day with hot chocolate and marshmallows in the Greenwich Maritime Museum café. It was a really fun outing!

Rugby Session

On Saturday 1 February, Marco, Jamie, Oliver, Daniel KP, Ilia, Theo, Sam Woodhams, Rafferty, Giacomo, Rhys, Anjola, and Arthur enjoyed a rugby coaching session led by Mr Greenwood, Mr Rogers, and Mr Murrell. They warmed up by practising ball skills and doing drills before playing a 6 a side match! It was a great morning in the sunshine!
