On Friday 2nd December, The Pointer School visited Blackheath Prep for a tough netball fixture.

The year 6’s had been working extremely hard in training throughout this term and after a win against Blackheath High the girls were full of confidence going into this fixture. It was a very exciting end to end game with plenty of chances being created by both of the teams.

Netball Year 6
There was some excellent netball on show by the girls, showing that all their hard work in training this term was paying off as their passing and movement throughout the whole game was superb. Our shooting was the stand out point of the game, being able to score a lot of the opportunities that we were creating. The game eventually ended with a 16-9 win for The Pointer School.

Again, on the whole a superb all round team performance against a very strong Blackheath Prep Team. Every single one of the year 6 girls can be very proud of their performance and how they represented the school. I am sure the girls will take this success into their fixtures in the New Year.
