‘Tis the season to be jolly and The Pointer School Children have been spreading Christmas cheer this festive season around Blackheath. The Pointer School recently dominated the Kent Chess Grand Prix, holding on to First Place for the Primary School Grand Prix for the third time in a row. Evan and Stakhey led the team with excellent scores with Axel and newcomers Callum, Seb, and Maja all contributing to the team win! Congratulations to the Pointers Chess Team on their continued success.

Equations, symmetry and problem solving were all on the menu for four lucky Pointers pupils this week. The quartet was invited to take part in the annual National Young Mathematician Award.
