The Pointer School is a thriving co-educational school for boys and girls aged 3-11 with an outstanding reputation for delivering a traditional yet exciting education within a Christian framework. In October 2014 the Independent Schools Inspectorate found Pointers to be ‘Excellent’ in all areas.

As part of our celebration of World Book Day, the award winning author, Helen Dennis, visited the school and delivered workshops to years 3-6. The children were captivated by her lively and interactive presentation and were inspired by her book series and passion for writing. The pupils left with signed copies of her books as well as plenty of enthusiasm for writing their own adventure stories.

Both teams finished the quiz level on points but the winners defeated the teachers in the deciding tie breaker. Thanks to all the staff who helped put the evening together and to […]

Thanks to all the parents for their support.
