The Pointer School is a thriving co-educational school for boys and girls aged 3-11 with an outstanding reputation for delivering a traditional yet exciting education within a Christian framework. In October 2014 the Independent Schools Inspectorate found Pointers to be ‘Excellent’ in all areas.

The Pointer School are in pole position after the first Kent Grand Prix tournament of the academic year. We had 7 pupils representing the school, Shreyas and Stakhey both played in the U18 Major which is an amazing achievement in itself. Shreyas’ performance with clear first, was outstanding. On Friday 22nd June, we hosted our annual Sports Day event for 2018. It was a day filled with excitement, nerves, competition and joy! Each year group competed in several events ranging from sprints, sack race, egg and spoon, 3-legged, obstacle, relay and hurdles. For the second year in a row pupils from The Pointer School chess club have won the first place Best Overall Primary School in the Kent Junior Chess Association’s Kent Grand Prix completion. The KGP is a year-long tournament comprising of eight tournaments spaced out monthly over the academic year.
