This week Year 5 visited Kew Gardens as part of their Geography topic, ‘Rainforests’. They took part in an immersive experience, exploring the complex rainforest habitat, and examining a variety of rainforest plants located in one of Kew’s famous glasshouses! In this session the students worked scientifically by observing, taking measurements and asking questions about rainforest habitats and explored the relationship between the rainforest plants, animals and people.

All-in-all it was a marvellous day out!
